  • I hate to give it a two star but the only good thing about this hike was Max Patch and Hot Springs that you can drive to. The trail was otherwise non eventful and had few running water sources. Another main reason for a two star is this area had some of the worst ever shelters! Old and Falling apart, floor sinking, mice and snake infested, could not pay me to sleep in shelters. There was only one shelter I might have considered staying in and it was dark and dank. The one after Hot springs is also horrible so be sure you bring your tent.
