Great shelter. Multiple spots for tents and fire. Shelter has plenty of room for those that want to sleep under it. Highly recommend stopping by.

this shelter is exquisite and the deck overlook to the tent pads and spring is charming. before you go straight into david lesser if you turn right you will climb this steep cliff and walk across a tiny spot another tiny cliff. if you go down the tiny cliff into a tiny valley that contains some of the most beautiful copper patina colored boulders (must be the moss or fungus) take this fabulous little side trip. you will not regret this. you can't quite see the blaze for david lesser shelter when you come up the hill from harper's ferry so when you come to the 4 way trail sign go straight turn right to see the buzzard boulders
